Garlic is an ingredient that gives our meals a rather strong and peculiar flavor. Apart from its nutritional value it also has anti-bacterial properties that make its consumption something especially recommended.
There is evidence of human consumption of this plant for more than 7,000 years, but garlic can also serve to solve other things that we would not have imagined.
With a simple garlic we can fix a broken or cracked glass, or at least get it to hold until we can replace it with a new one.
This plant contains various sucrose compounds called fractals in high concentrations. Frusta’s are responsible for the knife sticking when we cut one of these vegetables. This substance is a kind of natural glue.
When a glass is cracked, all we have to do is cut a piece of garlic in half and rub it through the broken area. We must do it carefully to avoid breaking it and cutting ourselves off with the pieces. With a piece of paper or a cloth we can remove the excess liquid.
The fluid will penetrate the cracks and prevent the glass from breaking further. Of course this is not a miracle remedy since we will have to change the glass as soon as we can. However, we will gain some time doing this.
In the case of having a peck on the windshield of a car we can also apply this technique. In this way we will minimize the chances of this small crack going over.
Similarly, we must change the vehicle’s moon in the shortest possible time, since garlic is a temporary and emergency solution, not a final fix.
